Song cry

I love to listen to music. It brings me to a good mood all the time. Since there are some people who don’t like or understand rap music I will walk you through some Jay-z lyrics. For those who don’t know he is the greatest rapper living. This song is called Song Cry and he talks about a lady he use to love.

Good dudes - I know you love me like cooked food – who don’t like good old home cookin.Even though a nigga got move like a crook move- he always on the go and he’s got love for the special lady that he talking about in the songWe was together on the block since free lunchWe shoulda been together havin 4 Seasons brunch- I had free lunch back in the day. He is bacicaly saying that they should be tougher throughout the year. Throughout there lifeWe used to use umbrellas to face the bad weatherSo now we travel first class to change the forecast- she was there when he was broke, now he is rich and she is right there for now.Never in bunches, just me and youI loved your point of view cause you held no punches- he loved her real point of view. When its them 2 there are no intruptions and they can enjoy eachothers time.Still I left you for months on endIt's been months since I checked back in- its been a long time since they talked for reasons we don’t know yet.Well somewhere in a small town, somewhere lockin a mall downWoodgrain, four and change, Armor All'd down- he is some where getting a car. Thinking about his love. He is just describing his surroundings.I can understand why you want a divorce nowThough I can't let you know it, pride won't let me show it- he knows he been disrespecting her. Not showing enough attention and she has had it and doesn’t want to be with S.C anymore.Pretend to be heroic, that's just one to grow withBut deep inside a nigga so sick- he got too much pride to beg for forgiveness like most dudes including me. But on the inside all men need love too.

That’s just the first verse. I suggest you read the rest of the verses and even try to listen to the music. It may be a little different but there is a message in all music.

hey whats up,
i really liked all your post, you did a good job, with them. i felt like you wrote from heart. meaning that u didnt just write it just to write it, you wrote it because you meant it. the newest post that you have on their is really good, i guess thats because i like that song, and maybe because i like Jay-Z. i didnt really get the blog about the five things to have a good time, i think you should have listed the five things and then expain why it makes you have a good time. the blog about the husteling was good because i knew people when i was in high school who would try to make money from anything, like if you asked them to borrow a pencil, they would charge you like a dollar. though i never brought one, but i thought it was funny. and then there were some who made money by doing other things like selling drugs. i hope thats not what you was doing. i think you chosed a good topic for you to write about. i felt the same way though, at first i chose my topic just because, but then it turned out to be okay. your a good writer and keep up the good work. Anyways overall your blogs are real good, and i liked them. hopefully you keeping writing even after your out of this class.

Hey Boy!!!

Let me tell you, I always really enjoy your blogs. I never know what is going to happen next, which is why I like visting so often. You as a person, make me laugh. Too bad it's the end of the quarter and I probably wont see you anymore. With me moving to Florida for the summer, then to Main Campus if I come back, it will be hectic.

I enjoy your blog because there are so many things that can fit in your topic. So many interesting things that keep me wanting to read more. I really liked your comment about my blog as a whole. I do like to volunteer my time to help others because it does take others to get things done sometimes. I wouldn't want to be somewhere, stuck, and have no one help me. It's kind of like you reap what you sew, so if you lend a hand in need, you will get one in return. You know, sort of like Karma.

I hope that you enjoy your summer vacation, be good, and try not to get smart with people at your job, although I have those occasional customers that I would like to tell them a thing or two. Good luck with everything, and if I don't see you before the end of the quarter, well besides our final, I WANT MY PIZZA!!:)

Mr A.--

This blog is awfully short, as it is mostly Jay-Z lyrics. If, after including the first verse (which I would have suggested writing in italics), you would have written a solid interpretation, then this would be a good post. As it is, it's hard to see exactly how it fits in your topic.

And the lyrics, of course, don't count toward your word count.
